NOAH LYON is a multidisciplinary artist based in New York City whose work has long moved fluidly between drawing, painting, publishing, and the handmade artifacts of underground culture.
As a teenager, Lyon began producing zines, buttons, shirts, experimental music, and radio broadcasts rooted in punk and underground hip-hop. These early projects established an expansive and prolific body of work outside conventional art-world structures. Since graduating from The Cooper Union School of Art in 2002, he has continued to work across media, exhibiting his drawings and paintings internationally in galleries and museums.
Lyon has participated in Printed Matter’s NY Art Book Fair at MoMA PS1 since its inception in 2006. His work is held in the special collections of the Brooklyn Museum, The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), Tate Britain, and the Whitney Museum of American Art.
